After having sent an itinerary to a client, there's always the risk that an attempt to edit it could cause irreversible problems that would confuse or mislead travellers before we've had the opportunity to recreate the itinerary and send a new link. Essentially, if the itinerary could be 'paused', that would prevent any issue.
