Most travellers rely on their phones to store and access all travel documents. While Lato already acts as a digital travel app in concept, it’s currently perceived as “just a web app” by many end customers.
Because of this, travellers often fall back to printing documents, which hurts both usability and sustainability.
A true app-like experience would make a big difference:
  • Installable on the home screen (like a native app)
  • Offline access to trips and documents
  • Login to easily retrieve previously visited trips
  • Faster, more native-feeling interactions
This would significantly improve adoption by travellers, reduce the need for printed documents, and align better with Lato’s mission of modern, digital travel experiences.
